Taylor Francis, M.A., CAGS
Nationally Certified School Psychologist

Helping others better understand their needs in order to reach their greatest potential is a passion of mine. I believe taking a holistic and tailored approach is essential to inform treatment and care. By providing comprehensive cognitive and emotional testing, I aim to give clients a better understanding of themselves in order to achieve their goals. In the assessment process, I typically work with children and adolescents ages 6 and up.

Education and Experience: I earned my M.A. and CAGS in School Psychology from William James College in Newton, Massachusetts and my B.A. in Psychology from Saint Anselm College. My training and experience includes conducting comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and providing psychological services to students in urban and suburban public schools. Through these experiences, I have worked with children with educational disabilities, ADHD, anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, gang-related violence/trauma, and homelessness. I enjoy psychological testing and supporting clients’ future treatment options and/or school performance!

Assessment Approach: In the assessment process, I highly value making the client feel comfortable and at ease with an interpersonal style. With children, I aim to find the balance between maximizing their abilities, while encouraging break points during the assessment periods to capture the most accurate depiction of their profile. With the majority of my assessment experience being for school districts, I have enjoyed working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and clinicians in order to form an accurate and well-rounded assessment for the client. I truly enjoy taking this holistic approach to better inform next steps in the treatment process, whether therapy, home, work, or school!
